Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble
Established in 2009, our school's Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble is a vibrant testament to the power of music in unifying students from diverse backgrounds. More than just a musical group, we function as a cohesive unit where a deep appreciation for music nurtures lasting bonds within our school and the wider community.
We believe firmly in the power of student empowerment. By recognizing and celebrating each student's unique talents, we transform individual contributions into a powerful collective sound. Through dedicated practice, our members, ranging from Primary 2 to Primary 6, cultivate essential qualities like resilience, collaboration, and leadership.
Since 2010, the ensemble has graced prestigious stages, including the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), the Esplanade, the Asian Civilisations Museum, and at the Istana. These performances are invaluable opportunities for our young musicians to discover their inherent potential and demonstrate unwavering perseverance.
Ultimately, the Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble is a living example of how nurturing individual strengths leads to collective excellence. Driven by passion and the confidence that their contributions are essential, our students develop into well-rounded individuals ready to share their spirit and talents with the world.
