Our School Values 

The school’s character education is premised on the school values of GR²IT: Graciousness, Responsibility, Respect, Integrity and Tenacity. As Bukit Viewans, our students are guided by these values in their thoughts, words and actions. 

Graciousness

• Greet and communicate with everyone politely 

• Are caring and will help others 

• Are considerate, are mindful of how their words and actions affect others, and will give way to others 

Responsibility

• Are responsible for their safety and their belongings, and will exercise self-control 

• Are responsible members of the class, family and society who will do their duties and contribute positively to others 

• Are curious and reflective in their learning and will work hard to strive towards excellence

Respect

• Treat themselves and everyone with respect, value others and are kind in their words and actions toward others 

• Show respect for the property of others and the environment and will not cause harm to them 

• Have empathy and are sensitive to how others feel by listening actively and appreciating their perspectives

• Tell the truth and admit their mistakes 

• Choose to do what is right even when no one is watching
